💡 Important tips when setting your city — from the official manuals
- Countries and cities are ordered alphabetically in English inside the device — look up your country by its English name (e.g. SAUDI AR, then MAKKAH).
- Older edition? Earlier generations are set by numeric codes: enter the country code (e.g. 966) then the city code (e.g. 012) — both codes for your city are shown on the city card here, along with the SUB code for cities that share a code.
- If the azan times look wrong, check three things: the correct city, the Gregorian date, and the calendar system (Taqweem) that suits your country.
- If your town is not stored in the device, use the NEW CITY feature and enter the coordinates and GMT offset shown here — and ask the smart assistant about “Add a city” for your model's exact steps.
- If your country observes daylight saving, switch DST on in summer and off in winter — the clock and azan times shift by one hour.
- The Qibla is set automatically once the city is chosen, shown in degrees from North on the dial above.
